Method to assess remote work:
The student team has specific benchmarks for their work each month depending on what initiatives they are working on at any given time. Job Description The position will include up to 20 hours of work per week including the following: 1. Work with other counseling students across the university to expand student participation in Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ); 2. Help to plan and implement CSJ initiatives and events during the semester; 3. Research and compile resources for students related to experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, and other intersecting marginalized communities to be shared with counseling students and faculty, supplementing current curriculum materials 4. Collaborate with other student organizations at the University on a shared social justice mission. Qualifications 1. Experience with community organizing and/or event planning, social media, or other communication platforms 2. Understanding of intersectionality, multiculturalism, human rights, and activism 3. Values and practice related to self-awareness building, reflexivity, and personal impacts and responsibility to others in community 3. Dedication to collectivism, social justice advocacy, and global dedication of the counseling profession 4. Student in the Counseling Division (i.e.
CMHC, CES
