Job Description
USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of New Hampshire, Durham seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach one course with a desired start date of August, 2026. This is a temporary, part-time teaching position. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering undergraduate or graduate-level instruction in an area of CSD, supporting student learning, and upholding the academic standards of the department. Duties/Responsibilities Prepare and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments, aligned with departmental and accreditation standards. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain regular office hours or virtual availability. Submit grades and required reports in accordance with university deadlines and procedures. Use the university's learning management system (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) to support course delivery. Participate in required training, orientation, or departmental meetings as needed.
D., or clinical doctorate in CSD or a closely related field. Prior college-level teaching experience. Familiarity with ASHA standards and CAA-accredited program requirements. Experience with hybrid or online teaching environments.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or a related field. Evidence of academic or clinical expertise in the assigned subject area.Required Licenses & Certifications:
Eligibility for state licensure or ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or CCC-A), if applicable to the course content.Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D., Ed.D., or clinical doctorate in CSD or a closely related field. Prior college-level teaching experience. Familiarity with ASHA standards and CAA-accredited program requirements. Experience with hybrid or online teaching environments.
Compensation Pay Range:
