We partner with private duty caregivers to match you with clients, creating higher continuity of care. All shifts are available! We service all of Madison and Jackson County! You must have at least 2 years experience as a caregiver to be considered. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by offering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, observation, and the ability to work effectively in various settings, including home community care and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Observe and document changes in patients' conditions, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Assist with hospice care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients in their final stages of life. Implement care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet individual patient needs. Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Skills Strong understanding of patient care principles, including patient observation techniques. Experience in hospice care or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus. Ability to develop and follow comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs. Experience providing direct support in group home or community-based settings is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
