Special Education Teachers

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Special Education Teacher - Upcoming School Year Mobile County Public School System is anticipating full-time Special Education Teacher openings for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs Provide direct instruction in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas Modify general education curriculum to support diverse learners Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Support students across a K-12 caseload (placement may vary)

Experience:

Previous experience in a school or special education setting preferred, but not required Education /

Licensure:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Active or eligible Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates

Compensation and Details:

Average pay range: $25-$35 per hour (based on experience and assignment)
