Varies Job Summary:
The Special Education Teacher provides instruction as well as an appropriate learning environment for children with special needs. Develops and implements individual instructional plans. Communicates with the student's families or guardians. Supervises other classroom staff.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Teacher Certificate issued by the Alabama State Department of Education OR the ability to obtain a Teacher Certificate issued by the Alabama State Department of Education within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree.
