Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in special education or childhood development are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure a safe learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners including those requiring special education support or early intervention services.
