Arkansas Special Education Teacher credentials are required, as is a solid understanding of IEPs and a willingness to meet the unique challenges of the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility) Previous experience with K-12 caseloads Familiarity with both self-contained and resource teaching environments Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Demonstrated commitment to student development and individualized instruction Strong communication skills and team-minded approach Growth mindset and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with special needs Develop and adjust Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with colleagues and families Manage classroom behavior and foster a nurturing learning environment Track student progress and participate in ongoing assessments Collaborate with general education staff and other professionals to maximize student success Participate actively in IEP meetings and school activities as needed Advance your career with a role where your impact is visible every day.
