Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the classroom by supporting students with diverse learning needs. Seeking several dedicated special education professionals for K-6 classrooms in an engaging, contract-based role. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a team of educators while providing tailored instruction to help each student reach their full potential. What we're looking for: Valid Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students (K-6) with diverse abilities Knowledge of IEP process, data collection, and instructional modifications Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and support services Organization and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment Positive, patient, and creative approach to problem-solving Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering differentiated instruction aligned with student IEPs Managing classroom routines and behavior supports to foster an inclusive setting Collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers Maintaining accurate records of progress, attendance, and compliance documentation Providing feedback and support to families regarding student growth Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to educational planning Details of the position: Multiple openings for the 2026-2027 school year Contract role, Monday through Thursday from 7:15am to 4:15pm Step into a supportive educational community and inspire positive outcomes for students who need it most.
