Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students' development and learning by stepping into a full-time Special Education teaching role for grades K-12. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse students, helping them thrive in an inclusive environment. Your expertise and passion for special education will be vital in guiding students toward success, collaborating with colleagues, and implementing impactful education plans.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (applicable to K-12) Experience working with students across various disability categories and grade levels Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of student needs Team-oriented mindset and commitment to collaborative teaching Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to students with special needs across K-12 classrooms Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and required reports Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive classroom environment Engage parents and guardians in their student's educational progress Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development This is a contract-based, full-time position situated near Magnolia, AR.
