Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a full-time, contract position near Pine Bluff, AR. In this rewarding setting, you'll work with K-3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom designed to meet the needs of children with moderate to severe disabilities. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) Experience with K-3rd grade students, particularly those requiring moderate to severe support Strong classroom management and communication skills Dedication to differentiated instruction and IEP implementation Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to inclusive education
Daily Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, tailored instruction to meet students' unique learning needs Develop and track individual education plans (IEPs) in partnership with a multidisciplinary team Foster a nurturing, structured classroom environment with clear routines Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders to celebrate growth and share progress Implement strategies and supports for behavioral, social, and academic development
