Key Qualifications:
Valid Arkansas Special Education Teacher certification Prior experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of both self-contained and resource classroom models Ability to perform all general Special Education Teacher roles and responsibilities Growth mindset, strong work ethic, and a positive, collaborative attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Provide tailored instruction and classroom management for a diverse range of student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive services Effectively communicate student progress to parents/guardians and school staff Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom community that encourages academic and social growth Track student data and progress to drive instruction and support student achievement What's in Store for
