Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference every day by supporting students in a dynamic educational setting! Key Requirements:
Valid Arkansas credentials as a Special Education Teacher Prior experience managing K-12 caseloads Familiarity with self-contained and resource classroom environments Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Ability to perform all responsibilities related to Special Education, including modified instruction, progress monitoring, and collaborating with support staff Strong work ethic coupled with a growth mindset and a positive, collaborative attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and interventions in accordance with student IEPs Manage caseloads across various grade levels and adapt to the unique needs of each student Complete timely progress tracking and maintain accurate documentation Create a supportive, inclusive classroom climate that encourages student engagement and growth Work closely with general education staff, therapists, and families to foster a team approach Attend IEP meetings and actively participate in developing and revising student plans This is a fantastic chance to build meaningful relationships and advance your career in a supportive school environment.
