Position Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (SPED) from an accredited institution. A valid Arizona teaching certificate with a Special Education (SPED) Endorsement or ability to obtain. A current Arizona IVP Card or ability to obtain Knowledge of core academic subjects, curriculum planning, and of experience working with students with disabilities. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess & identify students needing speech and language support. Provide individual & group therapy using curriculum-based materials. Develop & implement IEP goals to foster student success. Create an engaging learning environment to promote communication and growth. Collaborate with teachers, specialists & supervise support staff. Utilize alternative communication systems when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal education regulations.

Hiring Special Education (SPED) Teachers for the remainder of the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 school years.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, aligned with the academic district calendar.
