Position Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (SPED) from an accredited institution. A valid Arizona teaching certificate with a

STANDARD

Special Education (SPED) Endorsement. A current Arizona IVP Card. Knowledge of core academic subjects, curriculum planning, and of experience working with students with disabilities. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess & identify students needing speech and language support. Provide individual & group therapy using curriculum-based materials. Develop & implement IEP goals to foster student success. Create an engaging learning environment to promote communication and growth. Collaborate with teachers, specialists & supervise support staff. Utilize alternative communication systems when necessary. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal education regulations.
