9684756-85301 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity focused on supporting students as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing through multiple openings in the Phoenix area. Serving K-12 students in an itinerant role, you will travel between school sites, providing essential support and instruction to help each student reach their full potential. This position offers 40 hours per week and comprehensive health insurance. Mileage between assigned sites is reimbursable, and stipends are available for travel candidates.

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Current IVP fingerprint clearance card Experience in K-12 settings, supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Strong skills in direct instruction, lesson planning, and curriculum adaptation Ability to collaboratively write and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment Comfortable working across multiple school sites as part of an itinerant model Key responsibilities: Deliver direct, individualized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Prepare daily lesson plans that address each student's learning goals and support their academic growth Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments as required Write, implement, and monitor progress on IEPs in partnership with interdisciplinary teams Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student engagement and success This W2 hourly contract offers $40-44 per hour along with comprehensive health insurance coverage.
