Classroom Teachers Role Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or be enrolled and have completed a Christian philosophy of education course, along with a commitment to completing 6 CEUs and 1 biblical studies CEU annually. Applicants should be experienced with the specific age group they are teaching and are required to possess a valid fingerprint clearance card and current First Aid/CPR certification. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in technology integration, flexibility in a dynamic environment, and a deep sense of patience, empathy, and passion for supporting students' growth and learning. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in applying diverse instructional methods and fulfilling professional responsibilities. This includes the ability to plan proficient, purposeful lessons that align with curriculum standards. Furthermore, the candidate must be skilled in the use of both formative and summative assessments to accurately measure student progress and inform future instruction.

Key Responsibilities Mission and Culture:

Key responsibilities for this role center on living out the mission and building a Jesus-centered biblical worldview. This position includes managing all aspects of instructional planning and delivery, student assessment, and classroom management, ensuring that individualized instruction is provided to meet diverse student needs. Additionally, the role requires consistent parent communication and the diligent handling of administrative tasks, including record-keeping, attendance tracking, and the organization of field trips, extracurricular activities, and a weekly class newsletter. Our micro-school will work with ages K12. We will be in session Monday-Thursday 7:00-2:30. Starting pay is $22- $34 per hour DOE.
