  • 07/27/2026 The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
DETAILS Resource:
Students are able to make progress within the general education classroom or resource room setting with the support of specially designed instruction. This level of support is available on all district K-12 campuses. Learning for Academic Success (LAS): Intensive academic support Communication Development (CD): Speech, language, and social skills. Academic support is also provided, if needed.

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations + Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred + State Teacher Certification;
