Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certified Montessori Primary Teachers to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant, child-centered environment. As a Montessori Teacher, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Your role is vital in guiding children through their early educational journey, ensuring they develop essential skills while feeling safe and supported. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through innovative teaching methods rooted in Montessori philosophy. Responsibilities Implement Montessori-based curriculum plans that promote holistic childhood development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking aligned with Montessori principles. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, organization, and an inviting space conducive to active learning. Monitor individual student progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing; adapt lessons accordingly to meet diverse needs. Support children's social-emotional growth by practicing effective behavior management strategies and fostering positive interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and colleagues to share insights on student development and coordinate activities that enhance the learning experience. Incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early intervention techniques into daily lessons to support comprehensive growth. Requirements Valid certification as a Montessori Teacher with relevant credentials recognized by educational authorities. Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with special education needs, early intervention programs, or behavior management is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education. Prior experience in daycare or private school environments is preferred; bilingual abilities are a plus.
