- Position Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
- Special Education Teacher
- to support students in a PreK-5 setting.
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality instruction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and creating an inclusive learning environment that helps students reach their full potential. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will deliver specialized instruction, provide educational support services, and collaborate with general education staff to ensure student success.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Provide individualized and group instruction to students receiving special education services.
+ Develop, implement, and monitor student educational programs and goals.
+ Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement.
+ Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate student documentation.
+ Utilize appropriate instructional strategies and interventions to support diverse learning needs.
+ Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
+ Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to special education services.

PreK through 5th Grade +
Caseload:
Approximately 26 students
+ Full-time assignment
+ Client interview required prior to placement
- Minimum Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred.
+ Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations.
+ State certification in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and/or Special Education preferred.
+ Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred.
+ Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred.
+ Current CPR certification if applicable.
+ Current health certificate if required by contract or state regulations.
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

- + Current Resume + Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ FPCC) + Valid Teaching License/Certification + CPR Certification (if applicable)
