Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Responsibilities include:

Delivering instruction and support tailored to visually impaired students through telehealth platforms Assessing student needs and adapting educational materials accordingly Collaborating with families and educational teams to ensure consistent progress Monitoring and documenting student development and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Staying current with best practices and resources for educating individuals with visual impairments Desired qualifications and experience: Certification or licensure relevant to teaching students with visual impairments Proven experience in remote instruction or telehealth delivery Strong communication skills and technological proficiency for virtual teaching Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Familiarity with assistive technology and resources for the visually impaired
