Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (state eligibility required) Experience working in resource and self-contained classroom settings Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt lessons to accommodate various learning styles and abilities Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive classroom cultureKey Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans for students with special needs Manage a classroom environment conducive to learning and emotional well-being Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain accurate and updated documentation for student progress and compliance Communicate regularly with families to support student success Actively participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with 37.5 hours per week guaranteed.
