Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district in Antioch, California to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in a self-contained classroom setting.

Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hours:
Approximately 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM (schedule may vary)
Pay Rate:
$55-$60 per hour Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral supports Requirements Active California Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe) Experience working with students with significant support needs preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to comply with all district and state requirements For more than 40 years, Supplemental Health Care has been helping educators find rewarding opportunities where they can make a meaningful impact.
