Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Special Education Teacher eager to work with middle school students in a self-contained classroom for moderate to severe needs. You'll be working with a supportive team, providing individualized instruction in a Special Day Class (SDC) setting. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid special education teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with middle school students, particularly in a self-contained or SDC environment Expertise with moderate to severe disabilities and adapting curriculum to individual needs Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families Ability to create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom community Commitment to upholding high standards for student learning and development
