Job Description:
Under the supervision of the principal, the Educational Specialist Mild
  • Moderate teacher plans, organizes, presents, and evaluates a program of meaningful instruction to students in the areas assigned, is a positive and collaborative member of the school, grade level and department team, making positive contributions to the overall success of the students and school.
The education specialist will also perform adjunct duties.
Individualized Instruction:
Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on each student's IEP goals, addressing specific learning needs and challenges.
Academic Support:
Teach core subjects like reading, math, science, and social studies, using differentiated strategies to ensure comprehension and access to curriculum.
Behavioral Management:
Employ positive behavior support strategies to manage classroom behavior and address social
  • emotional challenges.
