Job Description

Join our innovative educational team as a Robotics Teacher, where you will inspire and guide students through the exciting world of robotics, engineering, and scientific exploration. This role offers the opportunity to develop engaging curricula, foster hands-on learning experiences, and cultivate a passion for STEM fields. As a Robotics Teacher, you will empower students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges in a dynamic classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers. Design and implement comprehensive robotics and STEM curricula aligned with educational standards and student needs. Lead interactive lessons that incorporate robotics projects, coding exercises, and engineering design challenges. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance student engagement and understanding of complex concepts such as trigonometry, geometry, calculus, algebra, and discrete math. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior, effective classroom management, and a respectful learning environment. Mentor students through individual or group tutoring sessions focused on scientific research methods, laboratory experiments, and project development. Assess student progress through standardized testing, project evaluations, and formative assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating new educational technologies. Maintain detailed records of student performance, lesson plans, and classroom activities; ensure accurate proofreading of all instructional materials. Support students with special education needs or behavioral management plans as required by the school's policies. Participate in professional development opportunities related to STEM education, research laboratory techniques, and instructional best practices. Strong knowledge of robotics programming languages and hardware components. Expertise in STEM subjects including trigonometry, geometry, calculus, algebra, biology (cell biology, genetics), microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, organic chemistry. Experience in curriculum development tailored for diverse learners across different educational levels. Proficiency with learning technology platforms and digital tools for instruction and assessment. Laboratory experience with dissection techniques and scientific research methodologies. Excellent classroom management skills coupled with effective communication skills for working with students of varying abilities. Ability to design engaging lesson plans that incorporate instructional design principles and research-based teaching strategies. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational administration processes. Background in higher education teaching or private school experience is advantageous. Demonstrated mentoring skills to support student growth academically and personally. Experience in library services or supporting research activities enhances your ability to guide student inquiry projects effectively.
