Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Current certification or license as a Special Education Teacher Demonstrated experience working in school-based or educational settings Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation Skilled in differentiated instruction and classroom management Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with special needs Provide direct instruction tailored to each student's learning requirements Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and modify plans as needed Engage in regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights to student care plans
