Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), Extended Learning & Early Intervention La Mesa-Spring Valley School District

Important Details:
8-hour work day per TA contract 2 staggered days with extended morning and/or afternoon hours determined by site needs (i.e. 7:00-3:00 or 9:00-5:00) Elementary TOSAs will focus on: Early literacy instruction and intervention (including coaching and offering before/after school intervention) Supporting site data and assessment practices Coordinating attendance recovery before and after school Supporting site-based professional learning This position will be on a Temporary contract for the 2026-2027 school year and may be renewed depending on grant funding.Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Five (5) years of successful teaching experience. 2. Experience in presenting to adult learners.EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS
1. Valid CA Teaching or Education Specialist Credential with EL Authorization/ CLAD. 2. Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in education, education administration, behavior management, school counseling and/or educational psychology or related field.MUST ATTACH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS TO YOUR APPLICATION
