Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Special Education teaching license Experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs Strong collaboration skills for working with general education staff, families, and service providers Commitment to evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies Effective communication with students, parents, and staff Dedication to fostering an inclusive, respectful classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized instruction and support to K-12 students with varying abilities Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Collect and analyze student progress data, adjusting plans as needed Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and modifications Facilitate ongoing communication with parents or guardians about student goals and achievements Promote a positive and engaging learning environment for every student As a valued educator in this district, you will have the stability and resources of a permanent role, along with a welcoming professional network.
