Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant educational community near Marysville, CA. Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential in Special Education (or eligibility) Experience working with diverse student populations and a range of learning differences Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance standards Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual needs Commitment to fostering inclusivity and building positive student relationships
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements Deliver effective instruction using evidence-based strategies in a classroom or resource setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, aides, and therapists Monitor students' progress and adjust instructional methods as needed Provide a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment Engage families in ongoing communication and progress updates Participate in professional development opportunities and school events In this role, you'll appreciate the stability of a full academic year assignment and the chance to work with a dedicated network of educators.
