Special Education Teacher (SPED) | Up to $59/hr | Prather, CA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | School-Based | Weekly Pay Covelo Group is hiring a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time school-based position in Prather, CA. You'll work with K-12 students who have a variety of learning and support needs, providing individualized instruction based on each student's IEP or 504 plan. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, weekly pay, and the opportunity to work closely with students while collaborating with teachers, families, therapists, and other school professionals. Why You Should Apply Earn up to $59/hr, paid weekly Full-time, Monday-Friday school schedule No nights or weekends Consistent school-based setting Work directly with K-12 students Help students make progress toward individualized academic, behavioral, and functional goals Special education teaching experience preferred, but not required Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more available starting the first of the month following 30 days of full-time employment What You'll Do Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adapt lessons and instructional materials to support different learning needs Assess student progress and maintain required educational documentation Participate in IEP meetings and recommend updates to student goals when appropriate Support students with academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, psychologists, therapists, paraprofessionals, families, and other school staff Maintain a structured classroom environment and reinforce positive student behavior Monitor student safety and respond to student needs throughout the school day Provide toileting and diapering assistance when required by a student's individual needs or assignment What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited university Appropriate California teaching credential Appropriate California Special Education or Education Specialist credential for the assignment Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Special education teaching experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of IEP implementation, accommodations, and progress monitoring Ability to work a full-time Monday-Friday school schedule Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites as needed If you're looking for a full-time school-based SPED teaching opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule and pay up to $59/hr, apply today to be considered.
