Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher at a school near Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Two maternity leave coverage roles are available with flexible August start dates: one through October 30, 2026, and another extending through December 18, 2026. Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching credential (CA or eligible for reciprocity) Prior experience teaching special education at the K-12 level Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs and goals Collect and analyze student progress data, reporting updates to the educational team and families Participate in IEP meetings and develop meaningful, actionable goals for each student Provide ongoing support and guidance to instructional aides and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Contribute to a nurturing, productive classroom climate that supports student achievement This contract position offers a chance to make a genuine difference in students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of clearly defined assignment dates.
