Pre-K through 8th Grade We are seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team and provide direct support to students in an engaging afterschool program. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. The Special Education Paraprofessional will work with students from Pre-K through 8th grade, assisting with academic activities, social development, behavior support, and daily classroom needs. Job Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special needs.
• Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral development.
• Support students with disabilities in an afterschool educational environment.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and classroom expectations.
• Assist teachers and school staff with student supervision and activities.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
• Encourage student independence, participation, and social interaction.
• Assist with transitions, recreational activities, and structured afterschool programming.
• Monitor student behavior and communicate concerns to appropriate staff.
• Follow individualized student support plans and school policies. Qualifications
• Previous experience working with children, students with disabilities, special education, or behavioral support is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, dependable, and compassionate approach to working with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check. Schedule & Compensation
