Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting located in Redding, CA. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and adaptations to accommodate diverse learning styles Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting teaching methods as needed Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages academic and social growthQualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification required Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement effective behavior management strategies Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all studentsLocation:
