Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing working with students in a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, with a consistent 15-hour weekly schedule onsite. You'll collaborate with passionate staff and play a pivotal role in communication and learning for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The caseload is focused 1:1, ensuring you can devote your expertise and attention to maximizing student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, particularly in school-based environments Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication modalities Ability to adapt teaching strategies to students' individual needs and goals Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educational teams and families Flexibility to adjust as additional caseloads or details are shared
