Job Description

This full-time, contract role offers an exciting opportunity to provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, while collaborating closely with families and a multidisciplinary team. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching credential (California or eligible for reciprocity) Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Experience providing instruction and support to students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and a variety of school professionals Adaptable, organized, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs within a safe, supportive classroom Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support and communication Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school functions as appropriate Maintain documentation and complete required reports in a timely manner
