The Behavior Support Specialist will assist in data collection and assessment for behavior support services; assist in developing, implementing, and training staff in the use of positive behavior support and intervention techniques. 10 months per year / 35 hours per week.Salary:
This position is paid on the Paraeducators Salary Schedule. Grade 038. To view the Salary Schedule, click here. Positions 20 hours per week or greater qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents. Vacancies that require the incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish will be noted. Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Education and Experience:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to completion of college-level courses in psychology, special education, or related field, and three years of related experience.NOTE:
