  • Contract Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Homecare Billing Specialist to join our healthcare administration team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing processes related to home healthcare services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, proper coding, and effective follow-up on payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, coding systems, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency of our revenue cycle management while supporting quality patient care. Responsibilities Seeking for a Homecare Billing Specialist who can perform billing and collections for commercial, government, and managed care payors while interpreting and applying complex payor contract language to calculate accurate reimbursements. Pursue outstanding payments, resolve account balances, and conduct collection activities using internet resources and professional communication. Identify and report payor issues directly to leadership. Compose professional written correspondence to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
MUST HAVE
Should have a minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Homecare Billing:
Proven experience in a Homecare billing environment, including posting payments, handling denials, and reconciling accounts. Strong hands-on experience using the Brightree (BT) system for payment posting and reconciliation.
Payer Expertise:
Dedicated experience working with Commercial insurance companies.
Shift Timing :
8AM-4:30PM Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
Pay:
$27.00
