• Key Responsibilities
• + •Specialized Instruction•— Deliver standards-aligned academic, functional, and life-skills instruction using evidence-based practices, AAC, visual supports, and assistive technology.

• IEP Case Management
• — Lead IEP development, conduct assessments, write measurable goals, and monitor progress. +
• Behavior Support
• — Implement PBIS, individualized BIPs, and crisis-prevention strategies to maintain a safe, structured learning environment. +
• Collaboration
• — Partner with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support inclusion and coordinated services. +
• Classroom Management
• — Maintain a predictable, supportive environment that promotes engagement, communication, and independence.
• Minimum Qualifications
• + Valid
• California Education Specialist Instruction Credential
• Moderate/Severe
