Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children to learn and grow. Under general direction, assumes responsibility for planning, supervising and evaluating the daily program activities for your classroom. You must be able to communicate with the parents and supervise your teaching team. You must be able to participate in staff meetings, and perform related duties as assigned. Position Requirements
  • Must be able to relate successfully with children and their families in both Spanish and English.
  • Assist in maintaining the learning environment both inside and outside in a clean and safe manner.
  • Work independently and in a team within required guidelines as directed.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written correspondence.
  • Be aware of and sensitive to children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to twist, turn, stoop, reach, push, bend and demonstrate a full range of motion.
  • Ability to lift children, boxes or equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Present a state required physician's report, immunisations and TB test completed within 1 year prior to start date.
  • Must clear Child Abuse Index Check and Fingerprint Clearance per Title 22.
  • Maintain assessment records on children's development.
  • Be familiar with CACFP and maintain meal records
  • Supervise teachers, assistants and volunteers in the classroom.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Guide Have Child Development Teacher Permit or higher. Have experience working with children.
