The Reagan Education Team and Leadership Center The Reagan Education team's goal is to develop and inspire the citizens and leaders of tomorrow through immersive and impactful learning opportunities rooted in President Reagan's legacy, core principles, and the lessons of his life and presidency. Our priority is to reach vast numbers of young people where they are - in their schools and online. The Reagan Leadership Center Manager and Lead Teacher, a full-time position, will serve as the day-to-day manager and instructional leader of the Reagan Leadership Center (RLC). This position is responsible for all operations related to the Center's work and for ensuring that RLC programs consistently reflect high-quality teaching, facilitation, student engagement, and educational practice. The position requires strong organizational, management, instructional leadership, facilitation, decision-making, coaching, and team-building skills necessary to lead and develop the RLC staff. The Manager and Lead Teacher will model effective instruction, observe and coach RLC educators, lead professional learning, and support continuous improvement across all student and adult learning experiences. The position will also support all aspects of the digital transformation related to the RLC, including simulations, leadership programs, and related educational experiences. This position will report to the Director of Education Programming. Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere and contribute to the RRPFI and Reagan Education mission and goals.
• The successful candidate must be passionate about President Ronald Reagan's legacy and principles.
• Provides our partners with an exceptional educational experience through digital and in person engagement.

Management:

Lead the day-to-day operations and future development of the Reagan Leadership Center.

Payroll:

Manage the payroll of the Reagan Leadership Center team.

Staffing and Team Development:

Create schedules and establish hours for the RLC team. Hire, onboard, train, coach, evaluate, and develop a team of part-time educators and facilitators. Ensure quarterly all-staff meetings are available for professional learning, team development, program calibration, and workflow.

• Manage registration process for the Reagan Leadership Center (registration, financial aid, scholarships, invoicing, etc.).
• Ensure the RLC is maintained and operational.

Curriculum and Program Quality:

Partner with the Reagan Education team to review, refine, pilot, and evaluate curriculum, lesson plans, simulations, facilitation guides, and instructional resources using participant feedback, observation data, and educational best practices.

Professional Learning:

Design and lead onboarding, training, professional development, and ongoing instructional calibration for RLC educators to ensure consistency, rigor, historical accuracy, and a high-quality participant experience.

Instructional Coaching:

Observe RLC educators and facilitators; provide timely, specific, and actionable feedback; develop individualized and team-based coaching plans; and support staff growth through modeling, co-teaching, reflection, and follow-up.

Lead Teacher:

Regularly teach and facilitate RLC simulations, leadership programs, and other educational experiences, modeling exemplary instructional practice, content knowledge, student engagement, classroom management, and facilitation.

Goal Setting:

In partnership with the Reagan Education Team, establish ambitious goals that support our mission for the Reagan Leadership Center.

Recruitment & Partnerships:

Participate in local and statewide communities as needed to share the work of the Reagan Education team and the Reagan Leadership Center.

Reporting:

Track and refine metrics of success and data analysis for program impact and produce annual report of programs that includes qualitative and quantitative data.

Operations and Events:

Serve on the team that coordinates on-site Reagan Education events.

• In addition to the responsibilities listed above, all employees are expected to participate and assist with other Foundation events outside the direct scope of the Education team; and additional duties as assigned.

The candidate must be an accomplished educator with significant classroom teaching experience, demonstrated success coaching and developing teachers or facilitators, and a strong record of leading teams. The candidate must work collaboratively to achieve goals, maintain high instructional standards, and provide exceptional service to students, educators, families, partners, and guests. Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills

• A love of history and knowledge of Ronald Reagan's life is required.
• Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Current or prior teaching credential required.
• Significant successful classroom teaching experience required; a minimum of five years is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, observing, and providing actionable feedback to teachers, educators, or facilitators is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear, constructive, and growth-oriented feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to lead professional learning and build the instructional capacity of educators with varied levels of experience.
• Strong knowledge of effective instructional practice, student-centered learning, classroom management, assessment, and adult learning.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed by the program.
• Ability to work evening, holiday, and weekend hours to support Education programming and Foundation events.
• Proficient with iOS/Apple technology, Google Docs and Zoom.
• Proven ability to think strategically, learn new skills, and adapt well to change.
• Experience and a desire to work with a diverse population of students, teachers, parent chaperones, and volunteer docents.
• Physical demands include frequent walking and use of stairs, as well as long periods of standing.

This is an exempt full-time position. Occasional evenings and weekends for special events are required.
