Job Description

We are seeking a Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained elementary classroom in Stockton, California, for the 2026-2027 school year . The teacher will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and support the academic, behavioral, and developmental needs of students with moderate to extensive support needs.

Salary :
$80K - 85K ($65 - $70 per hour)
School Level:

Self-contained Moderate/Severe SPED Caseload:
Approximately 7 students
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:10
PM Position:
On-site Requirements Valid California Special Education license or California teaching license Experience working with students with moderate to extensive support needs preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families Ability to implement IEPs and provide individualized instruction Ability to provide behavioral and educational support based on student needs Key Duties Provide individualized and small-group instruction in a self-contained classroom Develop and implement lessons aligned with student IEP goals Monitor and document student progress and academic performance Provide behavioral support and maintain a safe, structured classroom environment Adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress planning Maintain accurate documentation and follow school and district requirements #
SG Pay:
$65.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
