Special Education Teacher

Affective Needs - Special Education Teacher - K-12 Job Summary We seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities. You'll work with a small caseload of K-12 students—primarily 1st and 2nd graders, plus a few middle schoolers—delivering individualized education plans through both push-in and pull-out models. This role is ideal for educators who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about inclusive learning. Responsibilities Deliver specialized instruction to students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and autism Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive classroom practices Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines Provide consultation, tutorial assistance, and progress monitoring Maintain compliance with all professional standards and school policies

Qualifications Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Valid Colorado teaching certificate (Special Education endorsement preferred) 1+ year of teaching experience Endorsements in Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education LBS1 certification CPR certification (if applicable) TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable) Current health certificate (per state regulation) Must be at least 18 years old

Colorado Licensure Requirements Compensation & Benefits Local Pay:

$50-$55/hour Weekly pay: $2,200-$2,400 Paid for 40 hours/week, actual workload ~37.5 hours/week

Travel Pay Package:

$28/hour + $500 meals + $800 housing Weekly pay: $2,420 Why Join Us?
