We're partnering with an exceptional school district in Boulder County, CO searching for a full-time Special Education Teacher for a leave from 8/20/26 to 10/30/26. This position will serve as the support lead teacher for both AM and PM preschool sessions, each with up to 18 students. The role will also include serving as the service provider and case manager for up to 10 students receiving ECSE services.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized academic and behavioral instruction to elementary-aged students in a resource room setting. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals to support diverse learning needs. Adapt instructional materials, strategies, and assessments to promote student growth and engagement. Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to coordinate services and support student success. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral data, and IEP compliance. Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environment that encourages independence and social-emotional development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Primary/Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Special Education teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education. Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic or classroom-based setting, experience working with students with Autism preferred.
