This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supported by a multidisciplinary team, including two dedicated paraeducators, occupational and physical therapists, a school psychologist or social worker, and a speech-language pathologist. You will enjoy a manageable student-to-provider ratio of 10:1, ensuring meaningful interactions and effective instruction tailored to diverse learner needs.

Qualifications:

Active Colorado Department of Education License with Special Education Generalist endorsement required Minimum of two years of classroom experience working with multi-disabled students Strong understanding of best practices in special education and differentiated instruction Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team-driven environment

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse elementary caseload Adapt grade-level curriculum and strategies to meet unique learning needs and abilities Collaborate closely with paraeducators and related service providers to foster student growth Utilize assessment data to monitor and document student progress Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that values student independence and achievement Engage with families to support student learning and communicate progress
