This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity for an experienced Special Education Teacher to serve as a SPED Case Manager/Teacher for the upcoming school year. As an onsite team member, you'll play a key role in delivering specialized instruction and developing individualized educational plans to foster student success.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Special Education (CO SPED) Certificate is required Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager preferred Understanding of IEP compliance, progress monitoring, and documentation Able to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families Commitment to inclusive and equitable education practices
Core Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the special education caseload (further details to be provided) Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide targeted instruction tailored to students' unique learning requirements Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development This full-time position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027. You'll be working onsite in a well-resourced school with a supportive administration and a dedicated team of fellow educators.
