Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based contract positions in Englewood, Colorado for the 2026/2027 school year. Openings are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. We are looking for educators who are committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varying educational needs.
- Provide direct instruction and classroom support in accordance with student goals and accommodations.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License required.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students.
- Experience with IEP development and implementation.
- Familiarity with a variety of instructional and behavioral support strategies.
