Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting opportunity as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students, providing critical support and guidance in a collaborative, welcoming educational setting. As an ECSE teacher, you'll work Monday through Friday, dedicating 35 hours each week to fostering inclusive learning environments and helping students reach their educational milestones. Utilizing your expertise in special education, you'll adapt instruction, address diverse learning needs, and partner with fellow educators to ensure every child receives the support they need.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and active Colorado teaching license/certification for Special Education. Experience with early childhood and K-12 special education caseloads. Strong understanding of individualized instruction and IEP development. Adaptability and creativity in creating lesson plans and interventions. Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues. Dedication to building a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning needs. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Assess student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize growth and achievement. Partner with families and school staff to create individualized learning goals. Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom culture for all learners. Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state special education requirements.
