Special Education Teacher

What We Offer Free CEUs to support your continued growth Weekly pay for consistency and convenience Professional development stipend Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance Wellness program to support your personal well-being Requirements Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist License (required) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide differentiated instruction based on students' academic and functional needs Support students' behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental growth Create and maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams Preferred Experience Experience working with students with Autism and/or significant support needs Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and classroom management techniques Experience in center-based or specialized educational settings preferred
