Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid and current Special Education Teaching license/certification Experience working as a Resource Teacher or in a Moderate/Severe classroom setting Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and data-driven instruction Dedication to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices Flexibility to serve elementary, middle, or high school students Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students with mild to severe needs Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Track student progress and maintain accurate, detailed documentation Engage with families to support student growth and promote open communication As a valued contract Special Education Teacher, you will make a meaningful difference each day while developing impactful professional relationships.
