Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a significant difference by supporting elementary students in a center-based special education program. Seeking a dedicated educator for a full-time contract position in the Strasburg, CO area, working exclusively on site for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications:
Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license required Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Commitment to providing individualized instruction and support Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction for an elementary caseload in a center-based program Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods to meet students' unique needs Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers Track student progress and maintain accurate records Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed This full-time assignment offers 37.5 hours per week during the school year.
